OnePlus 15R to Feature 7,400mAh Battery, the Biggest Ever in a Globally Launched OnePlus Phone

The OnePlus 15R is all set to launch in India on December 17 alongside the Pad Go 2 tablet at a livestreamed event in Bengaluru. The brand has been gradually revealing the key specifications of the phone. Now, battery details of the OnePlus 15R have been confirmed ahead of the official launch.

The OnePlus 15R is confirmed to pack a massive 7,400mAh battery, the largest battery ever found in a OnePlus phone in the global market. It will also come with 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging technology.

OnePlus 15R: What We Know So Far

OnePlus also confirms that the camera of the OnePlus 15R can record 120 frames per second video at 4K resolution. The phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 mobile platform.

Upfront, it will sport a 1.5K AMOLED display with a 165 Hz refresh rate. The display will come with TÜV Rheinland Intelligent Eye Care 5.0 certification. Other features will include Plus Mind, the OnePlus AI technology dedicated to helping make life less complicated.

Moreover, the OnePlus 15R will come in two stunning colourways - Charcoal Black and Mint Breeze. The phone will feature a new camera deco aligned at exactly 45 degrees from the top-left corner and a beautifully flat metal mid-frame. The phone will have the industry's most complete durability ratings: IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K. On the software front, it will run on OxygenOS 16.
