The OnePlus 15R is set to go on sale in India for the first time today. To recall, the OnePlus 15R made its debut in India last week alongside the OnePlus Pad Go 2. The OnePlus 15R arrives in India's sub-50K smartphone segment with several upgrades over its predecessor.

The OnePlus 15R features a Snapdragon 8 series chip, a super-smooth OLED display, a massive battery with fast charging support, a dual-rear camera setup, water resistance, and the latest software with long term support.

The OnePlus 15R goes on sale in India at 12:00 pm (IST) through Amazon and OnePlus's official e-store as well as through offline retail channels partners such as OnePlus Experience Stores, Reliance Digital, Croma, Vijay Sales, Bajaj Electronics, and others.

The OnePlus 15R price in India starts from Rs 47,999 for the base 12GB/256GB model. Moreover, the top-end 12GB/512GB variant will set you back Rs 52,999. The handset is offered in Charcoal Black, Mint Green, and Electric Voilet shades.

As part of the launch offer, buyers can also get a ₹3,000 bank discount on Axis Bank and HDFC credit cards, bringing the starting price down to ₹44,999.

The OnePlus 15R pairs the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 with 12GB of LPDDR5X- Ultra RAM. Storage options go up to 512GB using UFS 4.1 technology. A separate touch response chip and a G2 Wi-Fi chip aim to keep inputs fast and wireless performance stable, especially during long gaming sessions.

The OnePlus 15R uses a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate. Peak brightness in high brightness mode reaches 1,800 nits. The screen supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+ for supported content. Out of the box, the phone runs Android 16 with OxygenOS 16 layered on top.

On the rear, the OnePlus 15R carries a dual-camera system with a 50MP Sony IMX906 primary sensor that supports OIS, paired with an 8MP ultrawide camera. The front features a 32MP selfie camera. The main camera can record 4K video at up to 120fps, targeting creators who need detailed slow-motion footage.

Cooling has been upgraded using a system with a total surface area of 43,940mm². This setup is designed to control temperatures during intense gaming or extended charging. The device also includes an IP66, IP68, and IP69 rating, offering resistance to dust and water exposure in several tested conditions.

The OnePlus 15R houses a 7,400 mAh battery with 80W wired fast charging and reserve wired charging. Bypass charging is supported, which routes power directly to the system during gaming to limit heat build-up.
