Leaks and rumors around the OnePlus 16 have already started circulating, even though the phone is still some time away from launch. Now, a new tip is adding a few more specific details about the hardware.

Tipster Debayan Roy (@Gadgetsdata) recently shared the expected specifications of the upcoming flagship. None of this has been confirmed by OnePlus yet, but the leak offers an early idea of the direction the company could take with its next phone.

Display Could See A Big Upgrade

According to the leak, the OnePlus 16 could feature a 1.5K flat LTPO OLED display with a 240Hz refresh rate. The panel is said to be a BOE X5 display.

Another detail mentioned in the tip is the bezel size. The phone is said to have bezels measuring under 1mm, which could make the front of the device look quite minimal.

If this information turns out to be accurate, the display could be one of the more noticeable changes compared with previous models.

New Snapdragon Chipset Tipped

The leak also mentions the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chipset as the processor expected to power the device.

There are no further details about performance yet, but if the information is correct, the OnePlus 16 would likely be part of the next wave of Android flagships launching with Qualcomm’s upcoming processors.
