OnePlus has officially revealed the design and colour options of its upcoming flagship, the OnePlus 16, through its China listings. The smartphone is now visible on the OnePlus and Oppo China websites, offering the first confirmed look at the device ahead of its formal launch. The new flagship retains the familiar OnePlus design language but introduces a distinctive illuminated rear finish on one variant.

OnePlus 16 Price, Availability and Offers

OnePlus has not announced the OnePlus 16 price yet. The China listings currently focus on the phone's design and memory configurations, with Oppo's Chinese website handling pre-orders.

The company has also not confirmed the official sale date, global availability or India launch plans. There are no launch offers or introductory deals announced at this stage.

The OnePlus 16 will be available in three colours in China: Tomorrow's Star, Martian Masterpiece and Dark Forest. The Tomorrow's Star variant stands out with an integrated light element on the rear panel that appears to illuminate initials and coordinates. OnePlus has not revealed whether the lighting serves any purpose beyond aesthetics.

The smartphone features a large rear camera module housing three cameras and an LED flash. It also retains the company's customisable AI key on the side for quick access to supported functions.

The China listing confirms four memory configurations:

• 12GB RAM + 256GB storage
• 12GB RAM + 512GB storage
• 16GB RAM + 512GB storage
• 16GB RAM + 1TB storage

OnePlus has not confirmed whether all configurations will be offered in every colour.

OnePlus 16 Expected Specifications and Features

While the design and memory variants are official, most hardware details remain based on leaks and reports. The OnePlus 16 is tipped to feature a 165Hz high-refresh-rate display, with OnePlus reportedly working with BOE on the panel. Some reports also suggest support for an even higher refresh rate in certain gaming scenarios.

The phone is expected to use Qualcomm's next-generation flagship Snapdragon chipset, although the exact processor has not been confirmed.

For photography, reports point to a triple rear camera setup featuring a 200-megapixel primary sensor, a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera.

The OnePlus 16 is also expected to pack a large dual-cell battery with support for fast wired and wireless charging. However, the battery capacity and charging specifications remain unconfirmed.

With the design and China memory variants now official, more details about the OnePlus 16's pricing, specifications and launch timeline are expected to emerge ahead of its formal announcement.
