OnePlus 2 will cost more than the One, CEO Pete Lau confirms!
OnePlus surely knows how to create noise for its smartphones. For quite a while now, the company has been teasing us by hinting some or the other spec detail of its much awaited OnePlus 2 smartphone, which is coming on July 27. After hearing about the build and specs of the yet to be launched smartphone, this time OnePlus has revealed information about its price.

The company's CEO Pete Lau took the social network way to reveal that the OnePlus 2 will be priced under $450 or approximately Rs. 28,500. This is in line with the previous rumors which suggested that the phone would be launched for over $322 (approximately Rs 20,500), and would cost more than the One.

Assumptions have been made that the phone would be priced at $449, though it is yet not confirmed.
Taking a look at the specs of the OnePlus 2, as confirmed by the company, the phone will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 810 v2.1 chipset and will come with a fingerprint sensor which as per the company claims will work better than Apple TouchID. The company recently also unveiled that the smartphone will come with a USB Type-C port, which will make it the first smartphone to come with such a port.
As for its design, rumors have it that the phone will don a metal design. OnePlus will be launching the phone on 27 July in a unique way. It will be a VR product launch and one can watch the launch of using a VR cardboard headset.
