OnePlus 5 is the fastest selling OnePlus device, says co-founder
OnePlus 5 pre-order numbers are creating record.
The OnePlus 5 went official only yesterday. Within a few hours after announcing the flagship smartphone, Carl Pei, one of the co-founders of OnePlus shared an interesting information on his Twitter handle.
According to Carl Pei, the flagship smartphone - OnePlus 5 is the fastest selling device launched ever by the company. The basis of this statement is the pre-order numbers that the smartphone managed to achieve.
The exact number will be known only after the release of the device across the world. Even without the exact number of pre-orders, it is clear that the company is happy with the reach of its latest offering,

Notably, one thing that becomes clear is that the fans across the world are ready to buy the OnePlus 5 even after knowing that it is the most expensive smartphone released by the company till date. Also, it is worth mentioning that the OnePlus 5 resembles the iPhone 7 Plus from the rear.
Unveiled yesterday, the OnePlus 5 has been announced in two variants - one with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage space and the other with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage capacity. The 6GB RAM variant is available only in the Slate Gray color model and is priced at $479 (approx. Rs. 31,000).
On the other and, the 8GB RAM variant of the OnePlus 5 is available only in the Midnight Black edition and is said to be priced at $539 (approx. Rs. 35,000).
We recently saw that the OnePlus 5 that is yet to be released in India has received over 1 million "Notify Me" requests on Amazon India. Also, the Chinese retailer JD.com received more than 500,000 pre-registrations even before its announcement.
