OnePlus had recently pushed out the latest beta update for its flagship device OnePlus 5T, along came the new gesture based navigation system for the device. However as per some reports from Beebom it is being said that the new gesture based navigation have been copied from the iPone X.
That said let's see what the new navigation based gesture has to offer in terms of specifications:
1. A user can swipe up from the bottom to go back to home screen.
2. A user can swipe up and hold to go to the recent apps.
3. A user can swipe up from the left or right edge of the screen to go back
The further reports from Beebom suggests that only the gesture which allows a user to go back to home works fine, rest all the gestures have some or other kind of issue with their functionality. To begin with the new gesture for recent apps the user was not able to quickly doublw tap to si=witch between the last two apps.
The feature of going back to the previous screen could have been more users friendly if OnePlus would have copied iphones gesture of going back to the previous screen.
We still need to use the new features and will kepp you updated with all latest details related to OnePlus and other devices.
