OnePlus 5T now listed in the buyback program; exchange your old smartphone

OnePlus started the program back in 2015 and now its latest flagship is a part of the list.

OnePlus 5T has already emerged as one of the best-selling smartphones in the Indian market. In an attempt to push the sales further, OnePlus is offering an interesting offer for customers who wish to exchange their old smartphone to buy the OnePlus 5T. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer has announced buyback program for the smartphone in India.

OnePlus launches buyback program for OnePlus 5T in India

The company started the program back in 2015 and now its latest flagship is a part of the list. This means, you can purchase the smartphone under this buyback program. This buyback program is provided by Cashify and to avail it customers have to buy the OnePlus 5T from the official store of the company. All customers have to do is reveal the details of their old device and then they will be given the maximum possible quote for it.

Under the buyback program, OnePlus will first deliver the all-new OnePlus 5T after customers have made the payment. Then the pickup is arranged for a later date on which the Cashify team will come to pickup the old device and handover the cash to the customer.

It should be kept in mind that, the buyback program for the OnePlus 5T is currently only available in select cities.

In the beginning of this month, OnePlus launched the OnePlus 5T Lava Red variant in India. Priced at Rs. 37,999, the smartphone is exclusively available on Amazon India. Unlike the original OnePlus 5T, the Lave Red edition is only offered in the 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage variant.

As far as the other features are concerned, the smartphone comes with a 6.01-inch FHD+ Full Optic AMOLED display with a resolution of 2,160×1,080 pixels and 18:9 aspect ratio display. Under its hood, the smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor.

In the optics department, the OnePlus 5T is equipped with a dual camera setup at its rear with a 16MP primary sensor and a 20MP secondary sensor. For selfie camera, the smartphone makes use of a 16MP image sensor at the front.

The smartphone draws the required energy from a 3,300mAh battery that can deliver a decent backup of one day. The battery also carries support for Dash Charge fast charging feature. Notably, the OnePlus 5T boasts of the Face Unlock for feature for facial recognition.
