OnePlus 5 was announced only in June and is just two months old. It is one of the best smartphones to be released this year and has been well-received by the consumers.

OnePlus 6 concept video reveals dual rear cameras and more

The OnePlus 5 is a pretty good device with remarkable features, superior performance, and great specifications. The highlight is that the flagship smartphone bundles all these aspects at an affordable price tag. Given that the OnePlus 5 is a success, the next thing that has grabbed the attention of concept designers is the OnePlus 6. This smartphone is believed to be launched in 2018 with even better aspects so that the company ca cash in on the success of the OnePlus 5 with the next generation model.

While nothing is known abut the OnePlus 6, a recent report by Upcoming Phones has come up with a concept video of the smartphone revealing all the aspects of the device. Let's take a look at the features and specs of the upcoming OnePlus 6 as revealed by the video from below.

    Full-screen display is seen

The feature that grabs out attention at the first glance is the full-screen display. As seen in the image above, the OnePlus 6 concept seems to miss out on the bezels at the sides and bottom. Only the top of the device appears to feature a slim bezel in order to provide room for the 16MP dual selfie cameras with LED flash and a retina scanner. From the information that we have in hand right now, the OnePlus 6 might boast of a 5.5-inch QHD AMOLED full-screen display.

    Vertically placed dual rear cameras

Given that the OnePlus 5 has dual rear cameras, the same is expected from its successor too. However, the concept video shows that the OnePlus 6 will feature vertically placed dual rear cameras while there is a horizontal arrangement on the current generation model. The video points out that the OnePlus 6 will arrive with a 25MP dual rear camera setup accompanied with dual LED flash positioned between the two sensors.

First water and dust resistant OnePlus device

From the concept video, it is seen that the OnePlus 6 will arrive with the IP68 certification that will make it water and dust resistant. Notably, the company hasn't launched one such smartphone till date and the OnePlus 6 could be the first one to be IP certified.

    There’s an in-screen fingerprint reader

One of the most interesting features of the OnePlus 6 concept appears to be the presence of an in-screen fingerprint reader. We already know that many companies are planning to launch devices with in-screen fingerprint sensors in the next year. If OnePlus doesn't implement the same, then it might turn out to be a disadvantage for the company in terms of competition.

    Hardware prowess

The concept video of OnePlus 6 shows that the device is expected to arrive with 8GB RAM for enhanced multitasking and smoother performance and run on Android Oreo that went official lately. Also, it is believed to make use of a 4000mAh battery under its hood. The device is tipped to be launched in three different storage configurations - 32GB, 128GB and 256GB and in three color variants - Jet Black, Pearl White, and Gold.

    Glowing notifications

It is believed that the OnePlus logo at the rear of the OnePlus 6 will become shiny and glow in order to indicate that there are notifications. Also, it is said to double into a heart monitoring sensor as well.
