OnePlus 6 concept video released ahead of launch

OnePlus 6, which is the Chinese smartphone manufacture's upcoming device, is anticipated to be launched in next few weeks. Like every other smartphone, OnePlus 6 was also a targeted by various leaks and rumours which gave a fair picture of what the device might have in store for the users. Now a concept video is making rounds over the internet which shows OnePlus 6 design from all angles based on the leaks and rumours that have been described until now.

It is being reported that the Phone Industry has uploaded their concept video for the OnePlus 6 in order to give a clear view of what the device might pack in terms of specs and features. As per the video, the OnePlus 6 will have a USB Type-C port along with a 3.5mm headphone jack which was confirmed by OnePlus itself. On the left panel of the smartphone is a redesigned Alert Slider (with LavaRed accents) along with the volume rockers. While the power button and the lock button is placed at the right panel of the device.

The rear panel of the device is seen featuring a vertical dual camera setup along with dual-LED flash along with the newly designed fingerprint scanner which is placed just below the camera. The colour options in the video show that the device will be available in Black, White and Red colour similar to what the previous OnePlus devices offered. Also, a Bue colour variant is expected to arrive with the OnePlus 6.

Under the hood, the OnePlus 6 is said to feature the latest chipset from Qualcomm which is the flagship Snapdragon 845 SoC. The SoC is said to be coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB inbuilt storage. On the imaging front, the OnePlus 6 is said to feature dual camera setup which includes a 20Mp and a 12MP camera sensor. The camera is also said to have 4K recording capabilities.

Further, the concept video also shows that the OnePlus 6 will have a support for wireless charging and the device will come along with a bundled wireless charger. Also, a notch has been spotted in the video. In addition to that, a toggle to hide notch shows an edge-to-edge design. Also, the device is said to have a support for dash charging which we have already seen in the OnePlus's previous model.
