OnePlus 6 has already featured in near infinite leaks, but the rumor mill refuses to stop. Yesterday, we came across an image said to be the front panel of the smartphone. Yet again, another image (via Slashleaks) has surfaced again showing off the rear panel of the handset. While the image is not very clear, we have been able to notice some details.
Firstly, the alleged OnePlus 6 appears to sport a brush metal back. There is a vertically stacked dual rear camera setup accompanied by a LED flash module. Just below the flash, the fingerprint scanner is placed. The image further shows the presence of a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C port. This aligns with previous reports which have suggests that OnePlus's upcoming flagship will retain the 3.5mm audio jack.
OnePlus 6 is expected to come with an iPhone X-like design. OnePlus CEO Carl Pei has confirmed that the smartphone will sport a display notch. However, he later announced that the notch can be hidden after getting complains from some fans who are not thrilled with the idea of a notch.
When it comes to specifications, the successor of OnePlus 5T is likely to be fitted with a 6.28-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 2,280×1,080 pixels, resulting in the aspect ratio of 19:9. Under the hood, the smartphone is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor.
Carl Pei has said the OnePlus 6 will pack 8GB of RAM and 256GB of inbuilt storage. However, we expect the phone to have other variants The dual rear camera setup of the device is said to comprise of a 20MP sensor and a 16MP sensor. There is no information on the resolution of the front camera.
On the software front, the smartphone is seen running Android on Wi-Fi Alliance with Android 8.1 Oreo OS. Finally, a 3,450mAh battery with Dash Charging support is said to power the entire package.
According to a recent leak, the OnePlus 6 will come in three variants. Apart from the 8GB RAM variant, the other two variants will have 6GB RAM+64GB storage, and 8GB RAM+128GB storage.
