The Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus is all set to launch its upcoming flagship phone -dubbed OnePlus6-sometime this month or later this month. Company CEO Carl Pei has already shared the first official picture of the upcoming smartphone earlier this month, which clarifies that the flagship will pack a notch on the top like the one available on iPhone X.
The latest leak renders surfaced on Chinese microblogging website Weibo which showcases the entire front design of the latest OnePlus 6. The image indicates the brand logo of DxOMark the camera benchmarking platform.
The leaked images showcased some tiny bezels on the sides of the flagship smartphone and the bottom is slightly thick. The smartphone does have a top notch which is said to be smaller than iPhone X, but bigger than the one available at Essential Phone.
The top-notch comes with an LED notification indicator and a front facing secondary camera along with an earpiece. The image was leaked with the caption at the bottom which reads, "see you soon" which means that the OnePlus 6 can be expected in this month.
The latest leaked render also confirmed that the OnePlus 6 will sport an edge-to-edge as high as 90 percent display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. The fresh render also showcases some interesting colors variants. The OnePlus 6 is expected to launch in three color variants black, blue and white. If the rumors turn to be true then this will be the first phone from OnePlus which will be launched in blue color.
The leaked image also hints that the flagship smartphone will come with a glass-back design, not like the regular metallic build. The glass-back also indicates that the phone will be featured by wireless charging technology.
On the back, the OnePlus 6 will house a dual-camera setup with 16MP +20MP camera sensors placed vertically along with a LED flash. The oval-shaped biometric sensors are aligned underneath the camera-setup and the LED flash. On the front, the smartphone sports a 20MP selfie shooter.
As far as configurations concern, the OnePlus 6 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC clubbed with 8GB of and 256GB of onboard memory in the top variant. The phone will sport a 6.23-inch AMOLED display which is similar to the OnePlus 5T.
Seems the leaks and rumors are not going to stop until the launch of the OnePlus 6. However, these are just rumors and it's better to take this information with the pinch of salt and wait for the official launch of the flagship phone.
