OnePlus 6 to be an Amazon exclusive in India; Coral Blue color variant likely
OnePlus 6 is rumored to get unveiled on May 5 in China, but the India launch date still remains a mystery.
OnePlus 6 will be exclusively available on Amazon, suggests a new teaser promo of the smartphone which was showed at cinemas in India. The teaser is basically a longer version of "The Speed You Need" video we came across earlier this month. Although the video didn't give away any specifications, it did confirm that OnePlus 5T's successor will be an Amazon exclusive.
In addition to this, the OnePlus 6 has been spotted in a leaked promotional poster (via ITHome). According to the poster, smartphone will come in a Coral Blue variant and it will offer fast charge Dash Charge V2 support. The poster further reveals the upcoming flagship will pack 6GB/8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.1 inbuilt storage space.
In terms of optics, the OnePlus 6 will apparently flaunt a dual rear camera setup featuring a 20MP sensor and another 16MP sensor. This aligns with recent reports claiming the smartphone will retain the same rear camera setup as its predecessor. For the front camera, the smartphone is likely to make use of a 16MP sensor.
While OnePlus hasn't yet announced a launch date for OnePlus 6, the flagship device is believed to launch next month. From what we have been hearing so far, it will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. The smartphone is expected to arrive in three storage variants; 64GB, 128GB and 256GB.
As far as other aspects are concerned, the OnePlus 6 is said to run Android 8.1 Oreo and pack a 3,500mAh battery. Talking about the design part, the smartphone will reportedly feature a 6.28-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 2,280×1,080 pixels, resulting in the aspect ratio of 19:9. Needless to say, the display will have a notch at the top just like the iPhone X.
When it comes to pricing, the OnePlus 6 is said to cost twice as much as the OnePlus 5T. With only limited information available at the moment, we are not sure if all the variants of the smartphone will reach the Indian market.
OnePlus 6 is rumored to get unveiled on May 5 in China, but the India launch date still remains a mystery.
