OnePlus 6 visits Geekbench with Snapdragon 845, 6GB RAM

OnePlus smartphones are usually highly anticipated, and OnePlus 6 is no exception. It is not expected to launch before June, but that doesn't stop the rumor mill to churn out details about the smartphone. In fact, we come across new leaks every now and then. It was just yesterday, the leaked specs sheet of the smartphone popped up online.

 
OnePlus 6 visits Geekbench with Snapdragon 845, 6GB RAM

The OnePlus 6 is now said to have made its way to Geekbench with model number NS NS P7819. The model number is a little different from the usual OnePlus phones. So we are little skeptical about the leak at the moment. Anyway, the smartphone is listed with a Snapdragon 845 processor, 6GB of RAM and Android 8.1 Oreo, which aligns with previous reports.

 

The alleged OnePlus 6 has scored 2535 points in the single-core test and 8632 points in the multi-core test. The scores are similar to that of the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S, which is slated to launch tomorrow.

As far as other specifications are concerned, the OnePlus 6 will reportedly sport a 6.28-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 2,280×1,080 pixels. It is said to pack 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.

However, a higher variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB RAM is also likely to be in the making. In terms of optics, the device is believed to feature a dual rear camera setup with 16MP and 20MP sensors.

In addition, the upcoming flagship will draw the power from a 3,450mAh battery along with the company's proprietary Dash Charging feature.

Coming to the pricing part, a new leak suggests that the OnePlus 6 will be quite expensive. According to the leak, the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant of the smartphone, which will carry a price tag of $749 (approximately Rs. 48,850).

In terms of design, the OnePlus 6 could resemble the iPhone X. It is said to come with the same edge-to-edge display with a notch at the top. Further, the rear panel of the phone will also be similar with Apple's latest flagship with a vertically stacked dual camera setup.
