OnePlus will soon be unveiling the much-anticipated flagship
OnePlus seems to be all set to introduce yet another path-breaking device for the Indian market. As the launch time is inching closer, the buzz around the smartphone has reached its peak. It's quite evident that OnePlus has once again caused a stir even before unveiling the device. The much-awaited smartphone is expected to see the light of day next month, and the 'Notify Me' for the OnePlus 6T has already gone live on Amazon.in wherein customers can subscribe and receive regular updates on the OnePlus 6T.
On the marketing front, the company has gone out-of-the-box bringing innovative ideas to the table. The company managed to steal the show by announcing the OnePlus 6T officially for the first time through an advertisement featuring Amitabh Bachchan.
The advert showed Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan flaunting the device while addressing the audience and indicating towards the presence of an in-display fingerprint sensor on the OnePlus 6T. The ad also gives us a sneak peek of how the upcoming flagship would shape up in terms of design.
A new advert on its way
Before the OnePlus 6T takes center stage, the company will be releasing another TV commercial. The advertising will soon be released adding to the build-up around the much-anticipated flagship.
What's certain is that OnePlus will release the new advert in its unique style. While we know how good OnePlus smartphones are, it's hard to ignore the unique marketing strategies the company brings along. Keep an eye on the latest TVC, and you might be enlightened with some information about the device leading towards the launch.
OnePlus 6T's cameo on Hotstar
As effective the OnePlus advertisements are, the company has mastered the art of promoting its products in a subtle manner. OnePlus subtly replaced the Hotstar cheers to feature the 6T, i.e. replacing the 6 cheer.
While enjoying the ongoing Asia Cup Cricket tournament, users will now be able to see the new 6T icon on the Hotstar app, where they will be able to make predictions of the game on every ball. This is indeed a very unique and subtle way of interacting with the audience while intriguing them about the upcoming product at the same time.
Power-packed battery reservoir
Judging by the company's track record, the OnePlus 6T will undoubtedly be a battery powerhouse. It has been confirmed that the latest iteration of the phone will come with a bigger battery unit that will keep the device running for a very long time before you seek your Dash charger.
The new battery will be as big as 3700 mAh, definitely a bigger unit than the OnePlus 6' 3300 mAh unit. This promises to keep up with your rigorous usage. To top it all, the company is also said to be bringing an enhanced version of the popular Dash Charge. The upcoming OnePlus 6T will be backed by an improved version of the company's Dash charging technology. It is not yet known how the new charging technology will improve the battery performance but it is certainly a feature to keep an eye on.
Triple-lens rear camera setup
OnePlus 6T might also change the way we click pictures. There are leaks spreading around that the company has engineered a new kind of camera setup for the upcoming OnePlus 6T. The new smartphone might come equipped with not two but three-lens camera setup at the rear panel to deliver unmatched camera performance. The triple-lens camera setup will be better in sensing the depth and light to offer DSLR level image quality.
