OnePlus Ace 2 Pro key specifications leaked online ahead of possible July launch

OnePlus is gearing up to launch a new smartphone soon and we aren't talking about the OnePlus Nord 3 5G. The smartphone in question is the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro. To recall, the company has already unveiled two smartphones in its Ace series in China, including the OnePlus Ace 2 and Ace 2V.

However, Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed that a new smartphone will debut in OnePlus' Ace series in China soon. According to the tipster, the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro launch date in China will take place sometime in July or August.

OnePlus Ace 2 Pro Specifications (Expected)

The OnePlus Ace 2 Pro will be powered by Qualcomm's flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. The tipster also noted that OnePlus Ace 2 Pro will feature the same BEO screen as the recently launched Oppo Reno 10 Pro Plus.

The Ace 2 Pro is expected to sport a 6.74-inch 1.5K OLED display with 1440Hz PWM Dimming, a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, and a 100% P3 wide colour gamut. The OnePlus Ace Pro could pack a 5,000 mAh battery, while the tipster claims that it will offer 100W fast charging.

The other notable specifications on the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro include a 50 MP triple-rear camera setup with OIS support on the primary lens. Additionally, the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro's chipset will be paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage.

OnePlus Ace 2 Pro Competition, Global Release

As of now, there is no confirmation about the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro launch date. However, Digital Chat Station's leaks are quite reliable so we could likely see more news about the Ace 2 Pro soon. The OnePlus Ace 2 Pro is said to compete with the Oppo Reno 10 Pro Plus and Redmi K60 Ultra.

The OnePlus Ace line-up of smartphones are limited to China, although some smartphones in the line-up have been released globally under different monikers. Take for example, the OnePlus Ace 2, which was released in India and globally as the OnePlus 11R 5G.
