OnePlus Ace 2 Pro launch date set for August 16: Key Specifications Confirmed

OnePlus is launching a new smartphone in China soon. The OnePlus Ace 2 Pro launch date has been confirmed for August 16. OnePlus has been teasing details about the launch of the new Ace 2 Pro for some time now.

As of now, there is no information about the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro launch outside China. However, it is worth noting that the OnePlus Ace 2 was unveiled as the OnePlus 11R in India, while the Ace 2V was rebranded as the OnePlus Nord 3 5G with a few updates in India.

OnePlus Ace 2 Pro Specifications (Confirmed)

OnePlus recently took to Chinese social media site Weibo to confirm details about the Ace 2 Pro's battery and specifications. According to OnePlus, the Ace 2 Pro will sport a 6.74-inch Flexible OLED display.

The brand has also confirmed that the device will be the first to use a BOE Q9+ screen with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel will feature a pixel density of 450 PPI and a peak brightness of 1,600 nits. It will also support HDR10+ and 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming.

The panel also has a TUV Rheinland global eye protection certification with the teaser confirming three significant levels of low blue light eye protection certifications. Additionally, OnePlus has confirmed that the Ace 2 Pro will feature a 5,000 mAh battery with 150W SUPERVOOC fast charging tech.

According to OnePlus, the phone can go from 0 to 100 percent in 17 minutes. OnePlus also said the phone is equipped with a SUPERVOOC S power management chipset that will ensure the battery is durable for four years or 1600 charging cycles.

OnePlus has also confirmed that the handset will use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. Moreover, the chip will be paired with up to 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. We will update you with more details about the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro in the following days.
