OnePlus Ace 3 Launched with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC: Will Debut Globally as OnePlus 12R

OnePlus just dropped a new smartphone in China. The arrival of the OnePlus Ace 3 comes less than a month after the company released its flagship OnePlus 12 5G in China.

The OnePlus Ace 3 features a Qualcomm chipset, a curved OLED display, a massive battery with fast charging support, and a triple-camera setup. The OnePlus Ace 3 will make its international debut as the OnePlus 12R on January 23, 2024, at the company's 'Smooth Beyond Belief' event in New Delhi.

OnePlus Ace 3 Price

The OnePlus Ace 3 price in China starts from CNY 2,599 (roughly Rs 30,500) for the base 12GB/256GB model. Moreover, the OnePlus Ace 3 is also offered in 16GB/512GB and 16GB/1TB configurations that will set you back CNY 2,999 (roughly Rs 35,100) and CNY 3,499 (roughly Rs 40,100), respectively.

The OnePlus Ace 3 is offered in Moon Sea Blue, Ming Sha Jin, and Star Black color options. The phone will go on sale in China from January 15. We expect the OnePlus 12R price in India to start from the sub-40K segment.

OnePlus Ace 3 Specifications

The OnePlus Ace 3 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The handset runs Android 14-based ColorOS 14. It also packs a massive 5,500 mAh battery with 100W wired fast charging support.

For optics, the OnePlus Ace 3 features a triple-camera setup with a 50 MP Sony IMX890 primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and OIS support. The main camera is paired with an 8 MP ultrawide lens and a 2 MP macro unit. Up front, the handset opts for a 16 MP selfie camera with an f/2.4 lens.

The OnePlus Ace 3 sports a 6.78-inch 1.5K Curved LTPO OLED display with a peak brightness of up to 4,500 nits. The panel boasts a 120Hz refresh rate and a 360Hz touch sampling rate. The screen supports HDR and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. Connectivity options on the device include 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi 7, GPS, NFC, Bluetooth 5.3, and more.
