OnePlus Ace 5, Ace 5 Pro Launched with Snapdragon Chip, 1.5K LTPO OLED Display, 50MP Triple Camera Setup

The OnePlus Ace 5 series has officially been unveiled in China. The launch of the OnePlus Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro come on the back of the OnePlus 13 5G. The OnePlus Ace 5 series feature Snapdragon 8 series chips.

The OnePlus Ace 5 series also feature massive batteries with super-fast charging support, 120Hz OLED displays, and triple-rear camera setups. Moreover, the OnePlus Ace 5 series also run Android 15 with the latest version of ColorOS 15 on top.

The OnePlus Ace 5 price in China starts from CNY 2,299 (roughly Rs 26,900) for the 12GB/256GB model. Moreover, the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro price starts from CNY 3,399 (roughly Rs 39,850) for the base 12GB/256GB configuration.'

The OnePlus Ace 5 is offered in a Gravity Titanium, Full Speed Black, and a Celadon-Ceramic Special Edition. The OnePlus Ace 5 Pro comes in Starry Sky Purple, Submarine Black, and a White Moon Porcelain-Ceramic Special Edition.

The OnePlus Ace 5 will be unveiled internationally as the OnePlus 13R on January 7. However, there is no word on the availability of the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro outside China just yet.

OnePlus Ace 5 Pro Specifications

The OnePlus Ace 5 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Edition chip paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The phone also features a new dual ice core VC cooling system. The OnePlus Ace 5 Pro packs a 6100 mAh silicone carbon battery with 100W wired fast charging support.

Moreover, the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro sports a 6.78-inch 1.5K 8T OLED display with a peak brightness of 4,500 nits. Moreover, it also boasts an adaptive 1Hz - 120Hz refresh rate. The screen supports HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and HDR Vivid formats. It also comes with several eye-protection features baked into the hardware and 'glove touch' that lets you use the device with gloves.

For optics, the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro boasts a triple-camera setup on the back with a 50MP Sony IMX906 primary sensor that supports OIS and an f/1.8 aperture. The main camera is backed by an 8MP ultrawide lens with an f/2.2 aperture and a 2MP macro unit. Up front, the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro gets a 16MP selfie camera with an f/2.4 aperture.

The OnePlus Ace 5 Pro runs ColorOS 15 based on Android 15 out of the box. It also features an IP65 rating for resistance to dust and water as well as a "double-sided crystal shield glass" making it more resistant to scratches. Connectivity options on the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro include 4G, 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, an in-display fingerprint reader, and more.
