OnePlus is expected to launch the next-gen Ace series smartphone dubbed the Ace 5 soon in the Chinese market, which could be the successor of the Ace 3. The latest information has revealed the launch timeline and specifications for the upcoming OnePlus Ace 5. Let's dive into the details.

The information (shared by tipster Digital Chat Station) suggests the OnePlus Ace 5 will feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K 8T LTPO micro-curved display. It is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, the same processor that runs the Ace 3 Pro.

For imaging, the OnePlus Ace 5 is likely to feature a 50MP main camera. It could pack a 6200 mAh battery with support for 100W fast charging. There will also be an alert slider.

Moreover, the tipster reveals the launch of the OnePlus Ace 5 could take place in sometime later this year. It is also expected to launch as the OnePlus 13R in the global market next year. To recall, the OnePlus Ace 3 was launched globally as the OnePlus 12R.
