OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra And Ace 5 Racing Editions Launched with Flagship-Grade Performance

OnePlus has launched the Ace 5 Ultra Edition and Ace 5 Racing Edition smartphones in China. The Ace 5 Racing Edition features a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Meanwhile, the Ultra Edition boasts a larger 6.83-inch AMOLED screen with a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate.

The OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra Edition maintains the series' signature design, featuring a straight screen and right-angle middle frame. Its camera module includes vertical dual cameras and flash, surrounded by rounded metal edges. It is available in three colours: Burning Titanium, Phantom Black, and Breeze Blue.

This model is powered by the Dimensity 9400+ flagship chip, Lingxi touch chip, and e-sports Wi-Fi G1 chip. It also incorporates the Fengchi gaming core for enhanced gaming performance. The phone includes an independent "shortcut key" on its left side for quick access to functions like one-click flash memory and one-click mute.

The device is equipped with a new "Glacier Cooling System," offering a VC cooling area of 7300 mm² and a back cover cooling area of 4000 mm². It houses a 6700mAh battery that supports both 100W fast charging and bypass power supply.

This model comes with a substantial 7100mAh battery supporting 80W flash charging. The phone's display can reach up to 1300 nits peak brightness, ensuring clarity even under bright conditions.

Camera Features

Both models feature impressive camera setups. The Ultra Edition sports a rear camera with a Sony IMX906 sensor, offering optical image stabilisation (OIS) and capable of recording videos in 4K at 60 fps. The front-facing camera provides high-quality selfies with its f/2.4 aperture lens.

The Racing Edition includes a monochrome camera alongside its main rear camera, also supporting OIS and capable of capturing videos in similar quality as the Ultra Edition.

Both phones offer extensive connectivity options including Dual SIM support, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth version 5.4, NFC, USB Type-C audio, stereo speakers, and multiple satellite navigation systems like GPS and GLONASS.
