A retail box image that surfaced recently suggests that OnePlus is gearing up to launch a new smartphone, the OnePlus Ace 6 Pro Max, in China. The leak was soon followed by a new report from reliable tipster Smart Pikachu, who shared key details about the phone's memory configurations and performance hardware on Weibo.

According to the tipster, the Ace 6 Pro Max series may include multiple models. The highlight of the lineup is the inclusion of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, Qualcomm's upcoming flagship SoC, making this one of the first smartphones to debut with the next-gen processor.

Powerful Hardware and Storage Options

The OnePlus Ace 6 Pro Max will reportedly come with 12GB or 16GB of LPDDR5x Ultra RAM, paired with 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. These high-speed configurations suggest a focus on delivering top-tier performance for gaming, multitasking, and productivity.

The device is also said to launch in three distinct colours - Flash Black, Electric Purple, and Shadow Green - catering to users who prefer both subtle and vibrant finishes.

Interestingly, the Vivo S50 Pro Mini is also rumoured to feature the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset and may launch by the end of this month. However, reports suggest that the Ace 6 Pro Max could debut earlier, potentially becoming the world's first smartphone to ship with Qualcomm's new processor.
