OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra Tipped To Launch With Dimensity 9500 And 165Hz Display

OnePlus seems to be getting ready to add another phone to its Ace lineup, and this one looks like it’s aimed squarely at performance users.

There’s talk of a new “Ultra” variant, which would sit above the current Ace 6 and Ace 6T. If the timing lines up, the phone could show up in China as early as April.

Display And Performance Take Priority

A recent tip from Smart Pikachu on Weibo points to a large 6.8-inch display with a 165Hz refresh rate.

The same leak mentions MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 chipset. It’s a 3nm chip and is expected to go up against Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 in the same tier.

Taken together, this looks like a phone that’s more about raw performance than anything else.

Launch Could Be Close

There are also signs that the device may not be too far from launch.

Another tip from Digital Chat Station suggests the phone has already gone through a certification process in China. That usually means things are moving toward an official announcement.

With the OnePlus 15T launching in China today, the Ace 6 Ultra could follow not long after.

Competition Won’t Be Far Behind

If these details hold, OnePlus won’t be alone in this space.

There’s already talk of a Redmi K90 Ultra launching around the same time, also using the Dimensity 9500 chip. That could put both phones in direct competition, especially for users who care more about performance than camera features.

That’s been a familiar pattern for both brands, pushing high-end hardware in this segment.
