OnePlus Ace 7 Series Launch Tipped to Take Place Soon: Will Debut as OnePlus 16R in India

The OnePlus Ace 7 series is reportedly in development and could arrive later this year as the successor to the OnePlus Ace 6 lineup. While OnePlus has yet to officially confirm the new Ace series, a fresh leak has revealed several key details, including the processor, display, cameras, battery capacity and expected pricing.

The upcoming lineup is expected to include the OnePlus Ace 7 and OnePlus Ace 7 Pro. If the company follows its previous strategy, one of the Ace 7 models could eventually launch in India under the OnePlus R series branding.

OnePlus Ace 7 Series Expected Price

According to tipster Debayan Roy (@Gadgetsdata) on X, the OnePlus Ace 7 or Ace 7 Pro could launch in India as the OnePlus 16R. The handset is tipped to be priced between Rs. 70,000 and Rs. 75,000.

For comparison, the OnePlus 15R was launched in India at a starting price of Rs. 59,999. However, OnePlus has not yet confirmed the Ace 7 series or its India availability, so the leaked pricing and branding should be taken with a pinch of salt.

OnePlus Ace 7 Series Specifications and Features

The OnePlus Ace 7 series is tipped to be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, reportedly carrying model numbers SM8850 and SM8850Q. This would represent a significant upgrade over the Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered OnePlus Ace 6.

The upcoming phones could feature a 6.78-inch flat LTPS OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and an impressive 185Hz refresh rate, potentially making the series particularly appealing to gaming-focused users.

For photography, the OnePlus Ace 7 series is tipped to feature a 200-megapixel primary rear camera, while a 16-megapixel front camera could handle selfies and video calls. The higher-end Ace 7 Pro is reportedly expected to add a 50-megapixel Samsung JN5 periscope telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom.

Battery capacity could be another major highlight. The Ace 7 series is tipped to pack around 9,000mAh batteries, with support for 100W or faster charging. The phones could also feature a built-in cooling fan, suggesting a strong focus on sustained performance and gaming.

OnePlus Ace 7 Series: What to Expect

OnePlus has previously brought Ace series models to India under its R-series branding, making a OnePlus 16R launch possible. The OnePlus Ace 6 featured a 7,800mAh battery and Snapdragon 8 Elite, while the Ace 6 Ultra arrived with a Dimensity 9500 and 8,600mAh battery.

That said, OnePlus has not officially confirmed the Ace 7 series, so the leaked specifications, pricing and India branding should be treated as unconfirmed for now.
