OnePlus N6 Launch Date in India Confirmed for June 30: N Series Will Target Budget Smartphone Buyers
OnePlus is expanding its smartphone portfolio in India with the introduction of the new N Series, a lineup aimed at strengthening its presence in the highly competitive budget and mid-range segments.
The new series is expected to cater to young consumers looking for reliable smartphones without stretching their budgets, while helping OnePlus reach a broader audience in one of its most important markets.

OnePlus N6 Launch, Availability, and Expected Price Range
The first smartphone under the new lineup, the OnePlus N6, is scheduled to launch in India on June 30.
The OnePlus N6 will mark the debut of the company's N Series in India. While the brand has yet to reveal detailed specifications, the smartphone is expected to compete in the Rs 18,000 to Rs 25,000 price segment, one of the largest and most competitive categories in the Indian smartphone market.
OnePlus has confirmed that the N6 will be available through Amazon.in, the official OnePlus India website, and offline retail stores across the country. More information regarding specifications, pricing, and sale dates is expected to be announced closer to launch.
The launch comes at a time when India's smartphone market continues to grow, with industry estimates suggesting shipments crossed 152 million units in 2025.
OnePlus' New India Strategy Explained
With the introduction of the N Series, OnePlus is creating a clearer three-tier smartphone strategy in India. The new N Series will sit at the entry-to-mid-range level, focusing on affordability and everyday usability. Above it, the Nord series will continue targeting consumers looking for premium features and performance at mid-range prices. Meanwhile, OnePlus' flagship smartphones will remain positioned in the premium segment above Rs 50,000.
The company says the N Series has been designed with young Indian consumers in mind, particularly Gen Z users. India is home to an estimated 377 million Gen Z consumers, a demographic that is expected to account for nearly 44 percent of smartphone purchases in the country.
According to OnePlus, the "N" stands for "New, Neo, and Never Off," reflecting a focus on dependable battery life and all-day smartphone usage. The brand believes these features align with the needs of younger users who rely on their phones for education, entertainment, gaming, social media, and content creation.
The launch also follows broader changes to OnePlus' India operations. Earlier this year, the company expanded its after-sales network by leveraging OPPO's service infrastructure, increasing its service center footprint from 400 to 500 locations nationwide.
With the N6, OnePlus is looking to strengthen its foothold in the affordable smartphone segment while creating a more structured product portfolio for Indian buyers.
