OnePlus N6x with 7,000 mAh Battery, MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Apex, 120Hz Display Launched in India

OnePlus has expanded its affordable smartphone portfolio in India with the launch of the OnePlus N6x. Aimed at budget-conscious buyers, the new smartphone combines a massive 7,000mAh battery, military-grade durability, and OxygenOS 16 with 5G connectivity. The company is positioning the N6x as a dependable daily driver for users who prioritise long battery life and a rugged design over flagship hardware.

The OnePlus N6x is priced at Rs. 18,999 for the 4GB + 64GB variant and Rs. 20,999 for the 4GB + 128GB model.

As part of the launch offers, buyers can avail of up to Rs. 1,500 instant bank discount, bringing the effective prices down to Rs. 17,499 and Rs. 19,499, respectively. The OnePlus N6x will go on sale in India starting August 4 at 12 PM IST via Amazon and the OnePlus India online store.

The biggest highlight of the OnePlus N6x is its 7,000mAh battery, which the company claims can deliver up to 2.5 days of regular use on a single charge. OnePlus says the battery can provide more than 20 hours of continuous video playback and also supports 5W reverse wired charging, allowing users to charge compatible accessories.

The company has also focused on battery longevity. According to OnePlus, the battery is designed to retain over 80 percent of its original capacity after six years of usage.

Durability is another key selling point. The smartphone features an ArmorShell design with reinforced corners and internal cushioning, while also carrying MIL-STD-810H military-grade certification. OnePlus claims the phone can withstand accidental drops and operate reliably in challenging environmental conditions.

On the front, the OnePlus N6x sports a 6.8-inch HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,200 nits peak brightness, offering smoother scrolling and improved outdoor visibility.

Powering the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Apex chipset paired with OxygenOS 16. To maintain stable performance during extended usage, OnePlus has equipped the handset with a 5,300mm² vapour chamber cooling system.

The smartphone also features a 300 percent ultra-volume speaker, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi 6, and a hybrid dual-SIM slot with support for microSD card expansion up to 2TB.

For photography, the OnePlus N6x packs a 13MP rear camera alongside a 5MP front-facing camera. OnePlus has added AI-powered imaging features such as AI Portrait Glow to improve portrait shots, particularly in low-light conditions.
