OnePlus Nord 3 launched in India with MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC, 120Hz AMOLED Display

OnePlus recently concluded its Nord Summer Launch event, where it took the lid off the OnePlus Nord 3 5G. From the specifications, it appears to be clear that the OnePlus Nord 3 arrives as a rebranded version of the OnePlus Ace 2V, which was unveiled in China earlier this year.

The OnePlus Nord 3 5G debuts as a premium mid-range smartphone with a MediaTek chipset, a Fluid AMOLED display, a large battery with fast charging, and excellent software support. The company also revealed the OnePlus Nord CE 3 5G and OnePlus Nord Buds 2R at the event.

OnePlus Nord 3 Price in India

The OnePlus Nord 3 5G price in India is set at Rs 33,999 for the base 8GB/128GB model. Additionally, the Nord 3 also comes in a 16GB/256GB variant that will set you back Rs 37,999. The OnePlus Nord 3 5G will be available for purchase from July 15 through Amazon India during the Prime Day 2023 sale.

Customers who purchase the Nord 3 5G during the open sale on July 15 will get a free pair of OnePlus Nord Buds, an instant discount of Rs 1,000 on cards from select banks, Jio offer worth up to Rs 4,500, YouTube Premium for six months, and 100GB cloud storage for 6 months. The OnePlus Nord 3 will compete with the Samsung Galaxy A54 5G and iQOO Neo 7 Pro.

OnePlus Nord 3 Specifications

The OnePlus Nord 3 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The handset runs Android 13-based OxygenOS 13 out-of-the-box with OnePlus promising three years of software updates and four years of security updates.

Furthermore, the OnePlus Nord 3 5G sports a 6.74-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 1,450 nits. Moreover, the screen boasts a 120Hz refresh rate, which OnePlus is calling an "Adaptive Dynamic Frame Rate," which scales between 40Hz - 120Hz. The panel also supports HDR10+ and has a pixel density of 450ppi.

In terms of the battery, the OnePlus Nord 3 opts for a 5,000 mAh cell with 80W SUPERVOOC charging support. The Nord 3 is also equipped with the Battery Health Engine to deliver double the charging cycles of a regular smartphone.

OnePlus Nord 3 Cameras, Connectivity

For optics, the OnePlus Nord 3 gets a triple-camera setup on the back with a 50 MP Sony IMX890 primary sensor with OIS, an 8 MP Sony IMX355 ultrawide shooter, and a 2 MP macro unit. The Nord 3 also comes with a 16 MP selfie camera up front. The Nord 3's main camera can record 4K video at up to 60fps.

The Nord 3 also features an IP54 rating for resistance to splashes of water, the famed alert slider, and dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support. The OnePlus Nord 3 5G arrives in Misty Green and Tempest Gray colour options. Connectivity options on the device include 5G, NFC, GPS, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, and more.
