OnePlus Nord 3 Spotted on IMDA, TUV, CQC, And BIS Certification Websites

While OnePlus is set to launch the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G smartphone in India next week, the brand is also working on the OnePlus Nord 3, which will be positioned above the Lite edition of the Android smartphone.

The OnePlus Nord 3 has been spotted on the IMDA, TUV, CQC, and BIS certification websites. These databases have revealed a few key specifications and features of the upper mid-range Android smartphone.

OnePlus Nord 3 Surfaces On Several Certification Websites

OnePlus is said to be working on the OnePlus Nord 3, which is rumored to launch in the second quarter of this year. The upcoming Nord 3 has also been listed on multiple international certification websites, including India's BIS. This indicates OnePlus could launch the smartphone in multiple regions, presumably simultaneously.

A few days ago, the IMDA certification website revealed that the upcoming OnePlus Nord 3 smartphone has the model number CPH2493. The IMDA certification confirmed the smartphone support 5Gs, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and NFC.

The OnePlus Nord 3 has also been listed on the TUV certification database, China Quality Certification Center (CQC) certification, and Indian BIS certification with the same model number. China's CQC confirms the OnePlus Nord 3 will support 80W wired fast charging.

OnePlus Nord 3 Expected Specifications, Features

Since OnePlus hasn't officially acknowledged the existence of the OnePlus Nord 3, its supposed specifications and features have been collated from multiple databases, leaks, and rumors.

The OnePlus Nord 3 is tipped to feature a larger 6.72-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. A layer of Gorilla Glass 5 would protect the display.

The OnePlus Nord 3 is expected to be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC. The base model could have 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage, whereas the top-end variant may pack as much as 16GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage. There could be a model with 12GB RAM as well.

The OnePlus Nord 3 will feature a triple camera. There would be a 50MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 2MP macro sensor, and an LED flash. The smartphone might have a 16MP front-facing camera for selfies, video calling, and face unlock.

OnePlus is expected to embed a 5000mAh battery inside the OnePlus Nord 3 that supports 80W wired SuperVOOC fast charging. The upcoming mid-range Android smartphone from OnePlus is tipped to flaunt the signature alert slider on the side.
