OnePlus Nord 5, Nord CE 5 Launch Date in India Tipped: Check Expected Specifications and Pricing

OnePlus is reportedly gearing up to unveil the Nord 5 series in India soon. According to a recent leak courtesy of tipster Yogesh Brar, the OnePlus Nord 5 and Nord CE 5 will be unveiled in India on July 8, which follows the launch of the Nothing Phone (3).

The Nord 5 is expected to follow the Nord 4, which was launched in mid-July last year. Meanwhile, the Nord CE 5, which precedes the CE 4 that debuted in April 2024.

OnePlus Nord 5 Specifications (Expected)

The Nord 5 is anticipated to feature a flat OLED display with "1.5K" resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. It will include an in-display fingerprint sensor. The device will be powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 9400e SoC.

Camera specifications include a 50 MP main camera with OIS, an 8 MP ultrawide lens, and a 16 MP front-facing camera. Additionally, it will house a substantial 7,000 mAh battery supporting 100W wired charging. In terms of design, the Nord 5 is likely to sport a glass back paired with a plastic frame. It will also feature dual speakers and an IR blaster.

OnePlus Nord CE 5 Specifications (Expected)

The Nord CE5 is expected to come with a flat OLED screen measuring 6.7 inches and offering a refresh rate of 120 Hz. It will be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset, along with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

Camera features include a primary 50 MP lens, an 8 MP ultrawide camera, and a selfie camera of 16 MP resolution. The device will also have a large battery capacity of 7,100 mAh with support for 80W wired charging.

We believe the OnePlus Nord 5 price in India could start from under Rs 30,000 (Including Offers). On the other hand, the OnePlus Nord CE 5 price in India could start from under Rs 25,000. To recall, the OnePlus Nord CE 4 fetched a launch price of Rs 24,999, but is currently available at Rs 21,999, while the Nord 4 launched at 29,999 for the base model.
