OnePlus Nord 5 Series Launching Today in India: Check Price, Specs, Live Stream Details

OnePlus is refreshing its mid-range portfolio with the launch of the Nord 5 series in India today. At its Summer Launch Event, the company is set to unveil two new smartphones — the OnePlus Nord 5 and the Nord CE 5.

Both devices mark incremental but notable upgrades over their predecessors, bringing a mix of powerful hardware, large batteries, and some ambitious camera features into the sub-₹30,000 segment.

How to Watch the OnePlus Summer Launch Event

The event kicks off today at 2 PM IST and will be streamed across OnePlus India’s official website, YouTube channel, and social media platforms.

Pricing Expectations: No Big Surprises

While OnePlus hasn’t officially confirmed the prices yet, leaks point to a familiar ballpark. The Nord 5 is expected to start around ₹30,000, the same entry point as last year’s Nord 4. Meanwhile, the Nord CE 5 might stick close to ₹24,999 — matching the launch price of the Nord CE 4.

Both phones will be available via the OnePlus India Store and Amazon, continuing the brand’s usual online-first approach.

OnePlus Nord 5: Qualcomm-Powered with a Focus on Gaming and Imaging

The Nord 5 appears to be the performance-first sibling in the series. It features a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a full-HD+ resolution (1,272 x 2,800) and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it’s powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, which also brings support for real-time ray tracing.

Camera-wise, the Nord 5 keeps things dual-lens on the back: a 50MP Sony LYT-700 primary sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide lens offering a 116° field of view. On the front, OnePlus has gone with a 50MP Samsung JN5 sensor for selfies and video calls.

It runs on a 5,200mAh battery and supports 80W SuperVOOC charging. That should translate to a full day of use with relatively short top-up times, although official charging duration claims haven’t been shared yet.

OnePlus Nord CE 5: Big Battery, MediaTek Chip, Balanced Specs

The CE model in the Nord lineup usually aims to balance price and performance, and this year’s CE 5 follows that formula. It gets a slightly smaller 6.77-inch AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 1,080 x 2,392 pixels.

The real talking point here is the battery: a massive 7,100mAh cell that still supports the same 80W SuperVOOC fast charging.

Powering the phone is the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Apex processor with a Mali-G615 GPU and LPDDR5X RAM. While it may not match the Snapdragon’s gaming credentials, the 8350 Apex should be sufficient for daily use, streaming, and moderate multitasking.

The rear camera setup is led by a 50MP Sony LYT-600 sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), although the secondary lens hasn’t been detailed yet.

OnePlus Buds 4: Hi-Res Audio, Game Mode, and AI Translation

Alongside the Nord 5 series, OnePlus Buds 4 are launching today with a focus on premium audio and smart features. The earbuds come with dual drivers and dual DACs for enhanced sound, support Hi-Res LHDC 5.0 and 3D Audio, and offer a 47ms low-latency Game Mode for responsive gameplay.

Battery life is rated at 11 hours on a single charge, with up to 45 hours total using the case. The Buds 4 also support AI-based real-time translation, slide gestures for volume, Dual-Device Connection, and Google Fast Pair.

Available in Zen Green and Storm Gray, the Buds 4 will be sold via Amazon, OnePlus.in, and offline stores starting today.

OnePlus Pad Lite: Budget Tablet for Global Markets

While not officially confirmed for India, the OnePlus Pad Lite is expected to launch in the UK and Europe as a follow-up to the Pad Go. According to leaks, the tablet could feature an 11-inch Full HD LCD with a 90Hz refresh rate, a MediaTek Helio G100 chip, and a 9,340mAh battery in a slim 7.4mm chassis.

It may ship with 6GB RAM, 128GB storage, and basic 5MP front and rear cameras, targeting casual media consumption. Both Wi-Fi and 4G variants are likely. For now, its India release remains uncertain.

OnePlus Watch 3 (43mm): Compact, Durable, and Still Under Wraps

Also tipped for a global debut is the OnePlus Watch 3 (43mm), a smaller sibling to the 47mm model. It’s expected to offer the same AMOLED LTPO display, Snapdragon W5 dual-chipset, and Wear OS 5, with features like 5ATM + IP68 water resistance, military-grade durability, and over 100 sports modes.

The reduced size means a slightly smaller battery, but core functionality should remain intact. As of now, OnePlus hasn’t confirmed an India launch for this version either.
