OnePlus Nord CE 5 Reportedly Launching Next Month With a Massive 7,100mAh Battery

OnePlus is reportedly gearing up to launch a new addition to its Nord series, likely called the Nord CE 5. Although the company hasn't officially revealed any information yet, leaks and reports have begun to shed light on what to expect from the upcoming Nord phone.

A recent report has hinted at several key specifications, including details about the chipset, storage options, and battery capacity. Here's a closer look at everything that's surfaced online.

OnePlus Nord CE 5: What to Expect?

According to a report by Smartprix, the upcoming OnePlus Nord CE 5 is set to receive a significant upgrade over its predecessor, Nord CE 4, particularly in the battery department. While the Nord CE 4 came equipped with a 5,500mAh battery, the Nord CE 5 is expected to pack a massive 7,100mAh battery unit. The report suggests that this upgrade could position the Nord CE 5 as one of the best battery performers in its segment.

Further, the report states that the OnePlus Nord CE 5 could be powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC or a MediaTek Dimensity 8400 chipset. It is expected to support UFS 3.1 onboard storage as well. To recall, the Nord CE 4 was launched with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC paired with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 inbuilt storage. As far as the launch is concerned, the Nord CE 5 is tipped to debut next month, although an exact release timeline hasn't been revealed yet.
