OnePlus Nord CE 6, CE 6 Lite Launch in India Confirmed for May 7: Design Revealed

OnePlus has officially confirmed that the Nord CE 6 and Nord CE 6 Lite will launch in India on May 7 at 12 PM IST. The teaser also points to Amazon availability, with both phones expected to be listed under Amazon Specials.

This marks the next phase of the Nord lineup, following the Nord 6 launch earlier.

Design Officially Revealed

The teaser image gives a clear look at the design, and both phones appear to use a flat frame with a clean matte finish. The CE 6 Lite is shown in a soft green shade, while the other comes in a light blue tone. The CE 6 has a bigger camera island, giving it a more premium look.

While OnePlus hasn’t shared full specs yet, early benchmark listings give a rough idea of what to expect.

The Nord CE 6 is linked to a device spotted on Geekbench with the model number CPH2805. Based on the core configuration, it appears to use the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, paired with 8GB RAM and running Android 16.

In terms of performance, the device scored 1,101 in single-core and 3,117 in multi-core tests. These numbers suggest performance in line with previous Nord CE models rather than a major jump.

Nord CE 6 Lite Specs

Alongside it, the Nord CE 6 Lite is also expected to launch, marking the return of the Lite branding.

Another Geekbench listing, tied to model number CPH2943, suggests the Lite version could use a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chip with 8GB RAM and Android 16. It recorded scores of 1,068 and 2,953 in single and multi-core tests.

Beyond benchmarks, leaks point to a 6.7-inch LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 7,000mAh battery, and a 50MP dual rear camera with a 16MP front camera. A side-mounted fingerprint sensor is also expected.

In terms of pricing, the Nord CE 6 Lite could be positioned below Rs 23,000, with effective pricing potentially dropping under Rs 20,000 with offers.
