OnePlus Nord CE 6 Full Specifications Confirmed Ahead of Launch in India on May 7: What to Expect

Following the launch of the OnePlus Nord 6, the smartphone maker is prepping for another big release in India next month. The two new smartphones will include the OnePlus Nord CE 6 and Nord CE 6 Lite and will be available for purchase in India through Amazon.

According to the microsite, the OnePlus Nord CE 6 will be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, which is a step down from last year's Nord CE 5 that used the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC. The Nord CE 6 will also feature a new Touch Reflex chip to offer the segment's fastest 3200Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate.

OnePlus has opted for a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate on the Nord CE 6. The screen will feature a peak brightness of 1,800 nits and 3840Hz PWM Dimming. OnePlus is also outfitting the Nord CE 6 with a massive 8,000mAh silicon carbon battery with 80W wired and 27W reserve wired charging support.

For optics, the OnePlus Nord CE 6 5G will feature a 50MP primary sensor with dual-axis OIS. We expect the Nord CE 6 to ditch the 8MP ultrawide from last year and opt for an unusable auxiliary lens instead. The handset is also confirmed to feature a 32MP selfie camera with autofocus. Additionally, both the front and rear cameras will support 4K video recording.

The OnePlus Nord 6 will run Android 16-based OxygenOS 16. OnePlus says it will offer six years of smooth performance, which suggests six years of security patches and four years of Android OS updates, similar to the OnePlus Nord 6. Finally, the OnePlus Nord CE 6 will also feature dual stereo speakers and an IP66/68/69/69K rating for flagship-grade water and dust resistance.

OnePlus Nord CE 6 Price Range & Launch Details

The OnePlus Nord CE 6 price in India is expected to start from under Rs 32,000, suggesting a major hike over the Nord CE 5, which debuted from Rs 24,999. The Nord CE 6 will come in Fresh Blue, Lunar Pearl, and Pitch Black shades.
