OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite Launched in India with 7,000mAh Battery, 144Hz Display: Check Price, Offers

OnePlus has officially launched the Nord CE 6 Lite in India today, alongside the standard Nord CE 6. The Lite branding is making a comeback after nearly two years, with OnePlus pitching this one as a return to the basics: a big battery, a fast display, and a chip that can hold its own in the segment.

Sale starts on May 12 at 12 noon IST.

Price and Availability

The Nord CE 6 Lite comes in three storage configurations. The 6GB + 128GB variant is priced at Rs 20,999, the 8GB + 128GB at Rs 22,999, and the 8GB + 256GB at Rs 25,999.

OnePlus is bundling a Rs 2,000 instant bank discount across all three, which brings the effective price to Rs 18,999, Rs 20,999, and Rs 23,999 respectively. There's also no-cost EMI of up to six months on leading credit cards, with a Rs 1,500 instant discount on full swipe transactions and a Rs 2,000 discount on EMI transactions with select cards.

The phone is an Amazon Special and will be sold via Amazon.in, oneplus.in, the OnePlus Store App, OnePlus Experience Stores, and select offline retailers. It comes in Vivid Mint and Hyper Black.

Display and Build

The Nord CE 6 Lite has a 6.72-inch FHD+ display with a 144Hz Sunlight Display. OnePlus has also added Aqua Touch 2.0, which is meant to keep the screen responsive when your hands are wet or oily.

For durability, the phone carries MIL-STD-810H certification and offers protection against dust and everyday splashes. There's no IP69-grade rating like the standard Nord CE 6, but the basics are covered.

Performance and Gaming

Inside is the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Apex chipset. OnePlus is calling this a generational leap over the predecessor and is claiming an AnTuTu score of over 1.03 million, which the company says is the highest in the segment.

Gaming is one of the bigger talking points. The Nord CE 6 Lite supports 144FPS gameplay, and OnePlus claims stable 60FPS BGMI sessions for up to six hours. To keep things cool during long sessions, there's a 5,300 sq mm vapour chamber inside.

It runs OxygenOS 16 with Google Gemini integration. OnePlus is promising six years of fast and smooth experience on this phone.

Battery and Charging

There's a 7,000mAh battery on board, which OnePlus says is good for around two days of regular use. Charging is handled by 45W SUPERVOOC, and Bypass Charging is supported, so the phone can pull power straight from the charger when you're gaming or running heavy tasks.

Cameras

The rear setup is a 50MP main camera paired with a 2MP depth sensor. It supports 4K video recording at 30FPS, and OnePlus has bundled in the same AI photo editing tools that ship on the Nord CE 6.

The selfie camera is an 8MP unit.

How It Stacks Up Against the Standard Nord CE 6

The Nord CE 6 sits a notch above the Lite, with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chip, a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display at 144Hz, an 8,000mAh battery with 80W SUPERVOOC charging, dual-axis OIS on the 50MP main camera, a 32MP selfie shooter, and a stronger IP66/IP68/IP69/IP69K rating combo. It starts at Rs 27,999 after the bank discount.

If you're stretching the budget toward Rs 25,000, it makes sense to spend a bit more and go for the CE 6 instead of Lite. Otherwise, under Rs 25,000, the Lite makes a compelling case.
