OnePlus Open launch date in India set for October 19: Expected Price, Specs, Availability
OnePlus recently announced the official launch date for the OnePlus Open in India. The device will debut in India next week as the company's first foldable smartphone. OnePlus shared the details about the upcoming launch event on X (formerly known as Twitter).
On its community forum, the company said that the OnePlus Open is a "pinnacle of flagship foldable technology, redefining the concept of what a foldable phone can be." According to the forum, the OnePlus Open will be one of the "lightest and most durable foldable phones."

The OnePlus Open launch date in India is set for October 19 in Mumbai, India. The OnePlus Open event in India will take place at 07:30 pm (IST), 10:00 am EDT, or 04:00 pm (CEST).
OnePlus has also shared a teaser video for its upcoming foldable smartphone on YouTube, while teaser have already started popping up on X. Tipster Abhishek Yadav recently shared a leak revealing key information about the OnePlus Open.
The tipster claimed that the OnePlus Open price in India is expected to start from Rs 1,39,999, putting the device in premium foldable smartphone territory. He also revealed that the first OnePlus Open sale in India will start from October 27.
OnePlus Open Specifications
The OnePlus Open will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC paired with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage. The phone will feature a large 4,800 mAh battery with 67W wired fast charging support. The OnePlus Open will runs Android 13 with the OxygenOS skin on top.
For optics, the OnePlus Open gets a triple-camera setup on the back tuned by Hasselblad. The three cameras include a 48 MP primary sensor, a 48 MP ultrawide lens, and a 64 MP periscope shooter. The phone also features 20 MP and 32 MP selfie cameras. The phone will also feature the famed alert slider.
The OnePlus Open is expected to feature two OLED displays. The foldable smartphone will feature a primary 7.8-inch 2K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a cover 6.31-inch cover AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. OnePlus will likely use LTPO technology on its upcoming foldable smartphone.
