OxygenOS April 2026 Update: What’s Fixed, What’s Still Broken, and What’s New
OnePlus has wrapped up April with its usual OxygenOS FAQ, and this one gives a clearer picture of what’s happening behind the scenes. It’s not just about bugs. It also covers how certain features work, where they’re available, and what to expect from the latest update.

If you’ve been noticing small issues or wondering what some settings actually do, this is where OnePlus is trying to answer those questions.
Screen Flicker Issue Still Under Review
Let’s start with the one that hasn’t been fixed yet.
Some users are seeing screen flickering while recording videos. OnePlus has acknowledged it, but the fix isn’t ready yet. The company says it’s still analyzing the issue and working on improvements.
So for now, there’s no workaround or update timeline. It’s something that will likely be addressed in a future patch.
Camera Shortcut Bug Has Been Fixed
The camera shortcut issue is in a better place.
If you’ve tried launching the camera using a screen-off gesture and noticed the display doesn’t wake up, that’s the bug OnePlus is talking about. The quick workaround earlier was to press the power button first.

Now, OnePlus says the issue has already been fixed in the latest version. Updating your phone should resolve it completely.
Live Alerts Gets Real-Time Sports Scores
OnePlus is also adding a small but useful feature through Live Alerts.
You can now track real-time sports scores directly from your notifications. It’s not enabled by default, though. You’ll need to go into settings, turn on Live Alerts, and then follow your preferred teams through the Google Sports integration.
Also, this feature is limited to select devices, so not everyone will see it.
Songkran Watermark and Region-Specific Features
There’s a region-specific addition as well.
Users in Thailand can apply a Songkran watermark through the Photos app. It’s a seasonal feature, available from April 1 to April 30, and requires a minimum OxygenOS version of 13.0.1 along with a specific Photos app version.
It’s a small addition, but it shows how OnePlus is experimenting with localized features.
Content Portal Makes Sharing Easier
Another feature OnePlus is highlighting again is Content Portal.
This lets you drag and drop text, images, and other content between apps more easily. You can enable it from the Accessibility and Convenience section in settings.
It’s one of those features that doesn’t stand out immediately, but can save time if you move content around often.
B60P01 Rollout Timeline and What It Brings
The current update, labeled B60P01, started rolling out on April 8 and is expected to reach users by April 30.
It’s not a major upgrade. The focus here is on improving system stability and smoothing out everyday performance rather than introducing big changes.
That’s pretty much the theme of this FAQ as well. A mix of fixes, small features, and clarity around how things work.
