OnePlus Reveals Name and Specs of Upcoming Smartphone, Ahead of Launch!

    After the permanent price cut announcement for the One device, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer OnePlus has confirmed the name of the next OnePlus handset in the forum about contests that will let users to experience the 'OnePlus 2'.

    The company has teased the device at first saying "Photo Mania 2015 - Be the first to experience the OnePlus 2!" and on the second named "Your OnePlus Story - Be the first to experience the OnePlus 2!"

    Few days back, OnePlus CEO Pete Lau confirmed certain things about the price of the device and its processor, which will be Qualcomm's Snapdragon 810 SoC.

    On the other hand, details of Android 5.1 Lollipop-based CM 12.1 update have also been announced. Moreover, the company is working on touchscreen issue, which was reported by few users of its smartphones.

    Addressing to its users, OnePlus mentioned in its forum that, "Some of you have been experiencing touchscreen issues, we've gone through several iterations of the fix to make sure the solution works with the different panels we have, and eliminated some of the side effects we've seen like battery drain and mura effects. The last iteration is undergoing stringent testing, it's looking stable and promising. Both OxygenOS and CM will get the latest fix,"
