OnePlus Switch App gets this new feature
OnePlus has given its Switch app a new update which brings local backup to OnePlus devices.
The not so famous OnePlus Switch App is receiving a new update. The Switch app which was primarily launched to allow the users move from one OnePlus device to the next and it didn't have any major application as such.
Now, OnePlus has given its Switch app a new update which brings local backup to OnePlus devices. This means that even if the device of the user is not rooted he will be able to use the OnePlus Switch app to create a local backup of his contacts, images, applications, videos, call logs and others
The backups are saved on the device locally in a folder named "Mobilebackups" folder in which a user can sync it with the computer to keep backup of data.
The latest device from OnePlus is the so called flagship killer OnePlus 5T, the device does pack some good features and specification. Let's quickly have a look at what the device
offers in terms of hardware and software specifications.
The OnePlus 5T is identical to its predecessor OnePlus 5 in terms of hardware. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC paired with 6GB/8GB RAM and 64GB/128GB storage space. The device works smoothly while streaming HD videos, handle multitasking with ease and manage to do any task it is subjected to without any glitches.
The device uses a 3300mAh battery that comes with the Dash Charging feature that can charge it quickly and the device lasts pretty long as well. One thing that we like is that the OnePlus 5T relieved us of the battery concern as we used the device for a long time with an active data connection and accessing the camera to click shots every now and then.
In the Geekbench CPU performance, the OnePlus 5T had scored 1976 points in the single-core test and 6714 points in the multi-core test. In the AnTuTu benchmark, the device scored 178,966 points
