OnePlus Turbo 6X and Turbo 6X Pro with Affordable Phones Launched with MediaTek Chips: Price & Specifications

OnePlus has broadened its China portfolio with the launch of the OnePlus Turbo 6X and OnePlus Turbo 6X Pro, both powered by new 4nm MediaTek "SUPER" chips.

The phones differ mainly in display type, battery size, camera setup, charging speeds, and durability ratings, while sharing a 144Hz refresh rate and touch controls designed to work with wet hands and gloves. The range is aimed at users who value long battery life, fast charging, and high-refresh displays for video, navigation, and gaming.

OnePlus Turbo 6X and OnePlus Turbo 6X Pro Specifications

The OnePlus Turbo 6X features a 6.72-inch FHD+ LCD display with a 144Hz refresh rate and up to 1000 nits peak brightness. It supports hardware-level DC dimming and optimized touch controls that work reliably with wet hands, oil, or gloves. The Turbo 6X Pro upgrades to a larger 6.78-inch Samsung AMOLED panel with 1.5K resolution, M14 luminescent material, the same 144Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 6500 nits. It also offers full-brightness DC dimming and advanced eye-care technologies.

Under the hood, the Turbo 6X is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7360 SUPER chipset built on TSMC's 4nm process. It also includes a TF card slot supporting up to 2TB expandable storage. The Turbo 6X Pro uses the more powerful MediaTek Dimensity 7400 SUPER processor, paired with a 360° surround antenna system for improved connectivity. It runs ColorOS 16 and is backed by OnePlus' claim of six years of smooth performance.

Battery life is another major differentiator. The Turbo 6X packs a 7000mAh battery with 45W fast charging and wired reverse charging. The Pro model increases capacity to 8000mAh and supports faster 80W charging, with OnePlus claiming up to 29 hours of short-video playback, 17 hours of navigation, or 8 hours of gaming.

Camera hardware on the Pro includes a 50MP OIS primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 16MP selfie camera, supported by features such as Live Photo, Soft Light Portrait, and vintage film filters. The standard Turbo 6X boasts a 50MP primary sensor paired with a 2MP secondary lens and an 8MP selfie camera.

Additional Pro-exclusive features include AI-powered translation, writing assistance, voice note transcription, gaming tools, NFC, stereo speakers, an IR blaster, and an in-display fingerprint scanner. The standard Turbo 6X instead uses a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The Turbo 6X Pro also stands out in durability and imaging. It carries IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings, alongside seven military-grade durability certifications, while the standard model is rated IP64.

The OnePlus Turbo 6X sells in White, Green Cloud, and Starry Black, with three memory options: 8GB RAM with 128GB storage at 1,899 yuan (around USD 280 / Rs. 26,700), 8GB with 256GB for 1,999 yuan (around USD 295 / Rs. 28,100), and 12GB with 256GB priced at 2,299 yuan (around USD 339 / Rs. 32,350), targeting different budget levels.

The OnePlus Turbo 6X Pro offers two finishes, Heartbeat Orange and Prancing Horse Black, and three configurations: 8GB+128GB at 1,999 yuan (about USD 295 / Rs. 28,100), 8GB+256GB at 2,099 yuan (about USD 309 / Rs. 29,550), and 12GB+256GB at 2,399 yuan (about USD 354 / Rs. 33,750). All versions are scheduled to go on sale in China from 15 June.
