OnePlus could be preparing another performance-focused smartphone for the Chinese market, with a new leak pointing to the Turbo 7 Pro. The phone is tipped to feature a 185Hz display, a 200-megapixel primary camera and a battery that could reach 10,000mAh. If these specifications turn out to be true, the phone could appeal to gamers and users who prioritise smooth visuals and long battery life.

It is worth noting that OnePlus is yet to confirm the device or its specifications. The company is currently teasing the arrival of its Ace 7 series, but the leaked details suggest that another model could join its Turbo lineup before the end of the year.

OnePlus Turbo 7 Pro Expected Specifications

According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the OnePlus Turbo 7 Pro could feature a 6.78-inch flat display with a 1.5K resolution and a 185Hz refresh rate. This would be a step up from the 165Hz display on the existing OnePlus Turbo 6, potentially offering smoother visuals in supported games and other applications.

The smartphone is also tipped to use Qualcomm's 3nm SM8845 Pro chipset. Recent leaks have associated this processor with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 6 or Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 Pro branding, although its final commercial name remains unclear.

For photography, the Turbo 7 Pro could feature a 200-megapixel primary rear camera with a large sensor format. The leak does not reveal details about the other rear cameras or the phone's front camera, so its complete camera setup remains unknown.

Another reported feature is an external cooling fan accessory. The accessory could connect to the phone through compatible cases equipped with pogo pin contacts, potentially helping manage heat during demanding gaming sessions. The rumoured setup could put the device in competition with the upcoming iQOO Z12 Turbo, which is also tipped to feature the same chipset and a cooling fan.

10,000mAh battery?

Battery capacity could be one of the biggest highlights of the rumoured smartphone. The OnePlus Turbo 7 Pro is tipped to pack a battery rated at 9,000mAh or higher, while engineering samples from the series have reportedly reached 10,000mAh.

However, the final battery capacity of the retail model remains unconfirmed. Details about charging speeds and whether the phone will support faster charging than its predecessor have also yet to emerge.

For context, the OnePlus Turbo 6 features a 9,000mAh battery with support for 80W wired charging. The phone also comes with a 6.78-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate, a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset and a 50-megapixel primary camera with optical image stabilisation.
