OPPO recently secured TENAA certification for the OPPO A2 Pro, and the smartphone was rumored to launch later this month. However, the feature-packed 5G-enabled mid-range Android phone has been listed online even before Oppo announced the device.

The Oppo A2 Pro packs a Full HD+ 120Hz AMOLED screen, MediaTek Dimensity 1080 SoC, 64MP main camera, and a lot more. The listing for the OPPO A2 Pro not only reveals its specifications and features but also confirms its retail pricing.

Oppo A2 Pro 5G Launch, Price, And Availability

OPPO was expected to announce the Oppo A2 Pro in the next few days. However, OPPO A2 Pro (PJG110) has been listed by China Telecom, presumably accidentally, well before Oppo announced the smartphone.

The Oppo A2 Pro 5G listing confirms the smartphone will be available in Black, Brown, and Purple colors. The smartphone will be available with 8GB or 12GB of RAM. Buyers will be able to choose between 256GB and 512GB of internal storage.

The Oppo A2 Pro 5G has been listed at Yuan 2099 (approx. USD 285 / ₹23,700). The price is valid for the base variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. Some sources indicate Oppo will launch the Oppo A2 Pro 5G in India, and furthermore, the company may offer the smartphone at a price that starts below ₹20,000.

Oppo A2 Pro 5G Specifications, Features

The Oppo A2 Pro 5G appears to be a capable mid-range Android smartphone. It features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED curved screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 2412 × 1080 pixels resolution, and a 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming.

Oppo has embedded the 6nm octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1080 SoC inside Oppo A2 Pro 5G, which is paired with Mali-G68 MC4 GPU. Buyers can choose between 8GB RAM + 256GB storage, 12GB RAM + 256GB storage, and 12GB RAM + 512GB storage variants of the smartphone.

The Oppo A2 Pro 5G features a dual rear camera setup, headlined by a 64MP primary camera. It is accompanied by a 2MP depth camera and LED flash. There's an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies, video calls, and face unlock. There's an under-display fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication.

Oppo has embedded a 5000mAh battery inside the Oppo A2 Pro 5G, which supports fast charging tech. Oppo hasn't mentioned the rate of fast charging or the technology in the listing.

The Oppo A2 Pro 5G runs Android 13 OS. However, there should be a ColorOS 13 custom skin on top. Some of the notable connectivity options of the smartphone include 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 6 802.11 AX (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.2, GPS/ GLONASS/ BeiDou, and USB Type-C.
