Oppo A2m budget 5G smartphone Launched with MediaTek Dimensity 6020 SoC, 90Hz Display
Oppo recently dropped a new A series smartphone in China. The Oppo A2m is a budget 5G smartphone that has been unveiled in China.
The Oppo A2m arrives with a tall display, MediaTek chipset, a large battery with USB Type-C charging, and a side-mounted fingerprint reader. Here's everything you need to know about the Oppo A2m.

Oppo A2m Pricing
The Oppo A2m price is set at CNY 1,499 (roughly Rs 17,050) for the base 6GB/128GB model. Oppo's budget 5G handset also comes in an 8GB/256GB and a 12GB/256GB variant that costs CNY 1,799 (roughly Rs 20,450) and CNY 2,099 (roughly 23,900), respectively.
The Oppo A2m arrives in two color options including Starry Night Black and Flying Frost Purple. The Chinese smartphone maker did not announce plans to launch the Oppo A2m in international markets.
Oppo A2m Specifications
The Oppo A2m is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6020 SoC paired with the Mali-G57 MP2 GPU. The phone comes with up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB of storage that is expandable via a microSD card. The Oppo A2m runs Android 13-based ColorOS 13.1.
The Oppo A2m sports a 6.56-inch HD+ IPS LCD panel with a peak brightness of 720 nits. The panel boasts a 90Hz refresh rate and a pixel density of 269 PPI. For optics, the Oppo A2m features a 13 MP primary sensor with an f/2.2 aperture on the back as well as a 5 MP selfie camera with an f/2.2 aperture.
Oppo's latest budget smartphone packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 10W fast charging support. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G, a 3.5mm audio jack, dual-SIM support, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, a USB Type-C port, and more.
The Oppo A2m measures 8.12mm thick and weighs 185 grams. For security, the Oppo A2m also boasts a side-mounted fingerprint reader and Face Unlock.
