Ahead of its official launch Oppo A3 (codenamed PADM00) has been spotted on the website of China Telecom on April 14. The device was spotted with its renders, specifications, price and user manual.
Although the page has been taken down by the official authorities, 5gmobilephone.net managed to grab some screenshots.
The Oppo A3 was also certified by TENNA on March 22 and the device was expected to be launch in the early may 2018. According to the leak render its quite clear that the smartphone will come with a bezel-less screen with minimum bezels on the sides, along with a top notch like the iPhone X where the camera, earpiece, and the sensors are placed. However, we can still find those thick bezels on the bottom of the display.
The smartphone will come with a 6.32-inch Full HD+ display with a resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels. The leak suggests that the Oppo A3 is powered by the MediaTek P60 SoC clubbed with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage, which can be expandable up to 256GB via microSD. The specs look similar to the Oppo F7, which was launched in India earlier this month.
The all-new Oppo A3 is going to miss the dual rear-camera setup as the company decided it launch the phone with an only single lens. The smartphone will come with a single rear 16-megapixel camera sensor along with a LED flash. On the front, the phone houses an 8-megapixel front camera with front AI beauty self-shooting + post-ultra clear photo.
Surprisingly Oppo has also said no to the biometric scanner to this smartphone, instead of that company is planning to replace it with the face unlocking feature. The Oppo A3 will be backed by a 3,300 mAh non-removable battery and runs on the Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box.
On the connectivity part, the smartphone will support 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 3.5mm audio jack. The entire package is 56 × 75.3 × 7.8mm in size, weights 159g. The Oppo A3 will be available in Knight Black, Soybean Meal, Blue, Stardust Silver, and Pomegranate color variants. According to the leak, the Oppo A3 will come with a price tag of 1,999 yuan (approx Rs 20811).
