Oppo A3 Pro Launch Date Officially Confirmed; MediaTek Dimensity 7050, Dual-Cameras Tipped

Oppo is gearing up to launch the A3 Pro smartphone in China. The design and colour variants of the upcoming A3 Pro have also been confirmed.

The smartphone will be the successor to the Oppo A2 Pro, which was launched last year. Earlier this month, leaked CAD renders revealed the complete design of the Oppo A3 Pro. Here's everything you should know about the upcoming Oppo smartphone.

Oppo A3 Pro Launch Date Announced

The Oppo A3 Pro is all set to debut on April 12 in China. The phone is confirmed to come in three colour options: Azure, Yun Jin Powder (rose), and Mountain Blue.

The official teaser also reveals the phone will have a dual camera setup along with an LED flash at the rear panel. Upfront, the handset is expected to have a punch-hole cutout with minimal bezels.

Oppo A3 Pro Features We Know So Far

Ahead of the official launch, the Oppo A3 Pro was spotted (via MySmartPrice) on the Geekbench benchmark database, revealing it will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 processor. The phone is also said to come with 12GB of RAM.

On the software front, the phone could ship with Android 14 with ColorOS skin on top. Further, the phone is tipped to feature a 6.7-inch screen, but its display type, refresh rate, and resolution details are still unknown. However, it is expected to measure 162.7 x 74.5 x 7.8 mm in dimension and feature an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Other details like camera and battery capacity are yet to be revealed. It should pack a 5,000 mAh battery. To recall, the Oppo A2 Pro was launched with a 5,000 mAh battery with 67W fast charging technology. The phone also comes with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage.

Given that, we can expect 512GB native storage from the Oppo A3 Pro as well. Since there is no confirmation on the same it is better to take it with a pinch of salt and stay tuned for the official launch on April 12.
