OPPO A5 Pro Launched with 120Hz Display, 6000mAh Battery; Check Full Specifications, Price, and Availability

OPPO has launched the A5 Pro 5G in China, which comes as a successor to the A3 Pro 5G. The next-gen model offers several upgrades over its predecessor including a larger battery, a new processor, and triple IP ratings. Let's take a look at its specifications, pricing, and availability.

OPPO A5 Pro Specfications

The OPPO A5 Pro has a 6.7-inch (2412×1080 pixels) Full HD+ AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 1200 nits peak brightness. It comes with IP69, IP68, and IP66 ratings for dust and water resistance, claiming to be resistant to 18 types of water. The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

For optics, there's a 50MP dual rear camera and a 16MP selfie camera sensor. It also packs a massive 6000mAh battery with 80W SUPERVOOC Fast Charging, as opposed to the 5,100mAh battery and 45W SuperVOOC charging featured on the OPPO A3 Pro. Moreover, the OPPO A4 Pro runs on Android 15 with ColorOS 15. It features an in-display fingerprint sensor.

OPPO A5 Pro Price and Availability

The OPO A5 Pro price in China starts at 1999 yuan (around Rs 23,323) for the base 8GB/256GB model and goes up to 2499 yuan (around Rs 29,157) for the high-end 12GB/512GB model.

It is offered in two colour options namely -- New Year Red and Sandstone Purple. The phone is now available for pre-order and will go on sale in China starting December 27.

As of now, there is no clue regarding the launch of the OPPO A5 Pro in India. The predecessor A3 Pro was launched back in June starting at Rs 17,999. Given that, we expect the brand might launch the next-gen model in the future.
