Oppo A5 Pro Set to Launch On December 23; Full Specifications Revealed via TENAA Listing
Oppo is gearing up to introduce a new budget-friendly smartphone, the OPPO A5 Pro in China. This device was recently spotted on TENAA, revealing its design and features. The company has now announced the launch date for the Oppo A5 Pro.
The OPPO A5 Pro will be officially launched in China on December 23rd, as confirmed by Oppo through a Weibo post. Here's what to expect from the upcoming Oppo phone.
Oppo A5 Pro: Specifications and Features (Expected)
The Oppo A5 Pro will feature a 6.7-inch flat OLED display with a resolution of 2412 x 1080 pixels. It may support a 120Hz refresh rate and offer a 10-bit color depth. The screen will also have an in-display fingerprint sensor for added security.

Under the hood, the A5 Pro will be powered by a 2.5GHz octa-core processor. Users can choose between two RAM options: 8GB or 12GB. For storage, there are choices of either 256GB or 512GB, but there is no option for external storage expansion.
For photography enthusiasts, the Oppo A5 Pro comes with a dual rear camera setup featuring a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor. On the front, it has a 16MP camera for selfies. The phone is equipped with a robust battery rated at 5840mAh. However, details about its charging capabilities remain undisclosed at this time.
The dimensions of the OPPO A5 Pro are set at 161.5 x 74.85 x 7.67mm, making it sleek and easy to handle. It weighs approximately 186 grams, ensuring it remains lightweight despite its large screen size.
This new offering from Oppo aims to provide users with impressive specifications at an affordable price point, making it an attractive choice for budget-conscious consumers seeking high performance. Moreover, it will likely succeed the A3 Pro, which was launched back in June in India. Given that, we expect the A5 Pro could arrive in the country in future.
