Oppo A7 Pro Max Launch Date Confrimed: Set to Feature Biggest Ever Battery on an Oppo Phone
Oppo has officially confirmed the launch date of the Oppo A7 Pro Max in China after teasing the smartphone over the past few days. The upcoming handset is set to make headlines as the first Oppo smartphone to feature a massive 10,000mAh battery, making it the largest battery ever fitted inside an Oppo phone. Ahead of its debut, the company has also revealed key details about the phone's design, battery technology, and storage variants.
Oppo A7 Pro Max Launch Date and Variants
The Oppo A7 Pro Max will launch in China on August 4 at 02:30 pm local time or or 12 pm IST. The smartphone is already available for pre-order in the country and will be offered in Black, Orange, and Gradient White colour options.

It will be available in 8GB + 128GB, 12GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 512GB storage configurations.
Oppo A7 Pro Max Battery and Design
The biggest highlight of the Oppo A7 Pro Max is undoubtedly its 10,000mAh battery, which Oppo says is designed to retain its long-term health for up to seven years.
Despite packing one of the largest smartphone batteries yet, the device supports 80W wired fast charging, helping users top up the battery more quickly.
To keep the phone relatively slim, Oppo has adopted a silicon-carbon anode single-cell battery instead of the conventional dual-cell design. According to the company, this approach reduces the internal space required for wiring and power management components.
As a result, the smartphone measures just 8.47mm thick and weighs 226g, making it remarkably compact for a device carrying a five-digit battery capacity.
Oppo A7 Pro Max Specifications (Expected)
The Oppo A7 Pro Max is expected to feature a 6.78-inch flat OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, promising a smooth viewing experience.
Under the hood, the smartphone is tipped to be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 chipset and is expected to be available with up to 12GB of RAM. It is also expected to retain the 3.5mm headphone jack, while a side-mounted fingerprint scanner is likely to handle biometric authentication.
For photography, the Oppo A7 Pro Max is expected to feature a vertically aligned dual rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary camera. On the front, the smartphone is tipped to house a 50MP selfie camera for high-resolution selfies and video calls. The handset is expected to ship with ColorOS 16 based on Android 16 out of the box.
As of now, Oppo has not announced any plans to launch the Oppo A7 Pro Max outside China. More details, including pricing and availability, are expected to be revealed during the official launch event on August 4.
