Well, smartphones have been launching left and right in the past couple of days. While we saw LG, Motorola, Sony, Xiaomi amongst others go out with a bang in introducing its new devices Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Oppo has now quietly unveiled a new smartphone in the market.
Going by the details presented on the website, the new smartphone is priced at RM858 in Malaysia which translates approximately to Rs. 12,913. The Oppo A71 is further available in Gold and Black colors and is available for purchase in Malaysia.
We do not have any official word on whether the device will be made available in other markets, but we will be contacting Oppo for the same.
For now, let's just have a look at some of the features and specs of the new smartphone.
Display, Processors, RAM and Storage
Oppo A71 features a metal unibody design and comes with a 5.2-inch HD (720 x 1280 pixels) display. The handset is powered by a MediaTek MT6750T octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz and it is also paired with Mali-T860 MP2 GPU.
The smartphone offers 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable with the help of a microSD card.
Cameras, Battery and Software
As for the optics, Oppo A71 sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, PDAF, LED Flash. Up front, there is a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.4 aperture.
The smartphone is backed by a 3000mAh battery and it runs on Android 7.1 Nougat with Color OS 3.1 skin on top.
In addition, the device offers dual-SIM support, 4G, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS. Sensors onboard include distance sensor, light sensor, G-sensor, and E-compass.
Oppo A71's dimensions include 148.1x73.8 x7.6 mm and it weighs 137 grams.
