ColorOS 16 April Monthly Update Live: Check New Features, Rollout Timeline, and Eligible Devices
OPPO has started rolling out its April update for ColorOS 16, adding a couple of new features focused on media and everyday usability. The update is being released in phases, starting April 8 and continuing through April 30.

It will be available on select Find X and Reno series smartphones, depending on region and rollout timing.
UCL Watermark Added To Photos
One of the key additions is a UEFA Champions League (UCL) watermark inside the Photos app. Users can now add the UCL emblem to their photos directly within the app.

This feature is clearly aimed at fans who want to personalise images around match moments. It doesn’t change how the camera works, but it adds another layer of customization after the photo is taken.
Video Playback Controls Get More Options
OPPO has also updated video playback controls within the Photos app. Users now get four speed options: 0.5x, 1.0x, 1.5x, and 2.0x.

These controls are available during playback itself, so you don’t have to go digging through settings. It’s a small change, but one that makes the experience a bit more flexible, especially if you watch a lot of recorded clips.
Rollout Timeline And Eligible Devices
The update is being rolled out in phases between April 8 and April 30. Eligible devices include:
- OPPO Find X9
- OPPO Find X9 Pro
- OPPO Find X8
- OPPO Find X8 Pro
- OPPO Reno15 Pro 5G
- OPPO Reno15 5G
- OPPO Reno14 Pro 5G

Since it’s a phased rollout, availability may vary depending on the region and device.
