Oppo ColorOS 7 Based On Android 10 OS Unveiled With New UI: List Of Supported Devices
Oppo has officially unveiled its next-generation proprietary based on Android OS -- the ColorOS 7 with tons of new changes and improvements. The ColorOS 7 is based on Android 10 OS and it is all set to launch on 26th December in India. The latest iteration of the ColorOS will soon be rolled out to select Oppo and Realme smartphones.
The new user interface on the ColorOS 7 with a new color palate looks cleaner and offers a clean visual compared to the previous iteration. The software allows users to play with the icon style, size, and shape. Plus, ColorOS 7 also supports system-wide dark mode.
The camera UI also receives a major upgrade with support for video blur (on select smartphones) Beauty 2.0, Night View, and multi-frame noise reduction. ColorOS 7 also introduces a native video editing app called Soloop and a new virtual voice assistant named Breeno.
There is a HyperBoost mode for enhanced gaming experience and also the overall software is optimized to improve the battery life. The company claims that the ColorOS 7 offers 25 faster app load time and a 40 percent improvement in RAM optimization.
Update Rollout Roadmap
The Oppo Reno 5G smartphones will be the first set of devices to get ColorOS 7. Besides, the update will also be available for the Oppo Reno, Reno 10X Zoom, Reno FC Barcelona Edition, Reno Ace and Reno Ace Gundam Edition, starting from November 25 in China.
The Oppo Reno 2 will also get the update but in the second phase. Remaining smartphones like the Oppo Reno 2Z, Reno Z, Find X, Oppo R17, R17 Pro, and the oppo K5 will get the update in Q1 2020. Those who own the Oppo R15, Oppo K3, Oppo A9, A9x, A11, and A11x will have to wait until Q2 2020 to test out the latest software update.
The global rollout of the ColorOS 7 is likely to commence from November 28th, after the India launch
